Aquisition of Summit Coffee

King Coffee is pleased to announce that it has purchased Taupo's most awarded roaster, Summit Coffee, and will begin trading both brands alongside each other immediately.

We toiled over the weekend to get everything moved into our Roastery in East Auckland and up and running, pumping out the same great coffee that Summit customers have come to know and expect.  Customers should notice no difference at all and we're looking forward to growing the brand in the future.

Summit Coffee was awarded a gold medal in the "Best Flat White" section of the 2011-12  NZ Coffee Awards for its Plateau blend.  The blend has again been awarded a bronze at the 2012-13 NZ Coffee Awards held last week in Auckland,

The intention is to continue to run the two companies as separate brands but we will be making available both brands to all of our customers in the coming days.
